Choosing the best CRM Applications

Managing customer relationships as well as maintaining them is one of the most important items a business should consider.  That is why most organizations are implementing CRM applications because success of their company depends on it. CRM is getting popular because customers, prospects, clients and buyers are the top priority of every company. What can CRM applications do for the organization? How can you choose the best CRM that would be suitable for the company’s need?

With CRM applications, companies are able to store information, collect and manage the right data in a centralized place, organize and process it for proper analysis and action, improve communication between employers, employee and clients as well. And finally convert data into good reports and products that meets the customer’s needs.

There are a number of readily available CRM applications today in the marketplace. Some differ in their pricing, functionality and features and choosing the best application requires thorough knowledge about it. An effective CRM package is not just about collecting data, an effective package also includes processing and organizing these to be useful for the company.

Before selecting any CRM application, every company should first consider factors such as number of employees the company has, expected growth and sales, customer management practices, maintenance costs, financial capability and customer data. These things should be consider first because a company’s CRM application should also be aligned with the business practices, customer approach, and financial and technical capability of the company.

The customer relationship management (CRM) application that a company chooses must be robust and scalable to meet the growing needs of the company, compatible with the company structure. It must also have easy integration with your company’s current systems and be customizable. You’ll also want a software package that offers tools for managing contacts, reporting, marketing, analyzing and generating leads.  Above all, it should help an organization in preparing for sales and increasing customer relationships.

As for the question how would you choose the best CRM that would be suitable for the company’s need? My two cents is – list down first your goals and objectives, and draft a checklist of things you want to accomplish, then for each CRM you have in mind evaluate it against the checklist. The more “yes” or “checks”, the more it fits your company. See this checklist for instance http://www.worketc.com/compare.

Hi Alexa

We've used free-trial of worketc and it is definitely one of the best CRM tools. The thing we don't like is its high price. Due to our company being of small-sized, we couldnt afford worketc and decided to but workforcetrack. btw we found it suitable for our business needs and of course budget limits
